I am from Scotland, but now I am so lucky to live in Katy, Texas, it has so many options for where to have your photo sessions, and the weather is just about to get cool enough for us to enjoy it! Yay! So I have some ideas on where to have your Katy TX photo session.
As your photographer I am always open to exploring new locations, and if you have somewhere that is special to you and your family I would love to visit and make magic happen. However, I do have a few favourite locations which I want to show you below..
Cinco Ranch Lake House
This beautiful location is central to Katy TX, so is easy to find and the views to not disappoint. If you like water, and wooded areas this might be the location for you..
The Katy Heritage Park
This beautiful old time park and museum has so much character and a bandstand! And at Xmas they have a lovely huge Xmas Tree! It is one of my favourite places to have sessions! https://www.katyheritagesociety.com/
Mary Joe Peckham Park
Again in Old Katy this park is gorgeous, has some lovely areas, and a huge play park for the kids after the shoot! It has a beautiful lake to walk around and some people fish here.
Cullen Park
Slightly closer to Houston this gorgeous park has lovely trails, bike rides and play parks. It looks like an amazing spot to explore!
